I had already tried that. I moved the checkmark from heavy to assault.. it still didn't work. However, after doing that and later restarting the game, it worked.

I have the same problem. It doesn't matter what I choose, I'm always in a heavy suit even though I chose assault as my avatar when I was making my character. And I chose enforcer as my class. Is this just a glitch?

So I just started playing. They had me choose Male or Female.. But I look no different than the male characters. So what's the point of picking male or female? If the option wasn't there I could still have a girl name and it'd be no different. So ...
