Iam having the same issue, its not even going to the character screen, and the few times it did when i clicked on main character it disconnected me again, but i was able to log on with alt character on same account. WTF!

Found this rather strange but kinda cool Bug/Glitch . It happened when i was using my scanner then somehow switch to my SMG while the scanner was still scanning, it caused made me hold my SMG in one hand (like a badass) and i lost my normal sight...
