Here's what: we run medic starter fits, but ignore revive requests by the blueberries that don't get the message. They'll eventually learn to give up waiting (hopefully, for the event only). Seems pretty cruel but effective.

Honestly, if you're not outfitted with at least advanced dropsuits and nova knives, you're going to have a hell of a time getting successful knife kills. Most of the kills are usually backstabs; there's no point in engaging head-on.
