Previous games I've played had such a feature. I was well satisfied with those. The current pub search mechanics don't give indication of connection strengths. If the lag can't be fixed, then let people choose matches with good connections.

I find the trick is to remain support, for the most part. Often times I get killed because I attract the attention of hostiles because I fire first. Remain behind the ranks of squads and try your best to remain in a firefight but not be shot at....
