I wonder if there will also be neutral dangers such as giant fish to look out from. That would be awsome. Maybe underwater cities like in Star Wars I. We could battle for ownership of them.

For gun types that require ammo, I agree. +1 for limited ammo and replenishing. I really like the idea of a resupply logistics vehicle trailing the tanks. +1 for that too! But there are gun types that do not require ammo like lasers for example. ...

Most games with vehicles deal with this matter by providing two almost identical game modes. The first being pure infantry and the second allowing vehicles. I think this would be an approach to consider here.

The known issues section in the current build description when logging into the game clearly states CCP are aware of graphical clipping issues with the gunners and main gun on HMVs. This will be addressed in a later build.
