i have a heavy suit... i think it's just fine. i use a type II wit htwo complex shiled extenders and an AR. the HMG is too hard to handle with all the silly scout and assualt side to side strafing but with an AR i keep up with the reall bad hi...

they need to make the high end turrets use WAYYYYYY more CPU/PG That way they can't put as many high end sheild / armor modules on a tank with a high end turret. That would help balance it out.

meh.. they can camp the towers all they want.. my LAV can outrun their missile barrages... especially with the new driving mechanics.. i can turn on a dime at full speed and cause the swarms to hit walls...

So i went Heavy with an armor repper on my DS and yeah.. .its WAAAAYYYY better. So i kind of recant on the shooting driver thing... I will accept it as a trade off of sorts...
