The best you can hope for is an aurum item that allows you to reassign some sp. Beyond that, I doubt CCP is going to allow you to do it just because you messed up. Consider yourself a test subject for how newberries will feel.

It feels easy to a squad of experienced players, but getting 2500 with 4 players, when you're still new to thks game, is nigh on impossible. So I like the change, it makes newberries much more likely to get access to these gems.
