Since my fits were free, I would completely throw caution to the wind; since I was doing instant battles, I didn't try to help my team win, and did whatever was easy for WP at the time.

It went extremely well. I finished between 800 and 1200 WP almost every battle, and always got over 200,000 ISK of pure profit. My KDR was terrible, but it doesn't matter because I didn't lose anything.

What I learned is that you shouldn't bother wasting ISK (especially not AUR BPCs) on instant battles. Save it for when it matters.

This's what I spent my first three months doing.

My KDR has never recovered. Roll

... OTOH, is there even a reason to be isk positive after you have a couple hundred million in the bank?

I do this all the time.

I still hate BPOs. X]]>

Aye, AUR BPCs in pubs seems a bit silly. Fused Locus is the main one seen. Pissing away real money like that just seems wasteful though if they're having fun with it I guess that's what matters, the other issues of contact explosives aside.

Tangentially related, I see they've pulled the 'Abyss' Drop Uplink from the market. AUR item, was -90% spawn time, 25 or so uses and self-destructs if the one who dropped it dies. Seems like it was designed precisely for swarming with cheaper fits to overwhelm. The concept behind it struck me as being pretty cool.

I can get 10,000 AUR for the cost of my morning starbuck's coffee. That's something like 500 suits worth of 'Cavity' fused (so like... a month of play lol)

Nerf jobs.]]>

It never matters.

If you're interested in it, FW matters
PC matters

when real corps can give contracts, it will matter.

Nope. Just a game. A bad one at that. None of it "matters."

And only so much ISK can be spent even in PC anyway. Especially with corp dues/donations, and the fact that a lot of players have well over 100,000,000 Isk at this point with nothing to really buy? Isk running low ain't even a thing.

Yeah, BPOs are the true easy-mode of Dust. It's part of why I cringe whenever I see people trying to suggest that we add more.]]>
