Swarms are the ideal counter to speedy vehicles, but speedy vehicles are obviously shield tanked, which swarms suck against. Great delima.

Honestly, one of the big problems with LAV is the radar nerf. If they really want to fix LAVs, without buffing or debuffing anything, they need to change the radar rules a ton. A tank or LAV or DS should put up a big enough signature to appear on the radar 100M out. Then, allow the LAV or HAV to have dampeners to lower their profile and be stealthy. Then LAV drivers could choose between a more vulnerable, but sneaky LAV to hit folks with, or the current tanky LAV but on radar so its less easy to just run everyone over.

If LAVs appeared on radar they would be far less annoying.]]>

As for webifiers coding takes time yo, gotta make sure they work against all suits, all LAVs,HAVs or whatever that comes in at the future. If you think you can do better become a programmer.

As for caldari suits, its pretty much the same thing as LAVs, they are flavor of the month because of the lack of the "lazors", pack in flux nades, if you know the type of suit you are going to be fighting isnt up to you to find the way to counter play?

For instance, LAVs. They are broke and everyone knows it. Yet no one can come up with a simple solution to this, it always sparks debate and five hundred game changing ideas.

Creativity is key, but not convolution. Taking the LAV example, why not just make the damage dealt to the dropsuit equal to impact damage taken? Or even better, ADD THE WEBIFIER ITEMS WE WERE PROMISED MONTHS AGO. -_- It doesn't require even more complicated game mechanics, or super nerfs or buffs. Just make it consistent.

Another example. Caldari Logi suits > all. Huge arguments over this. Or, take the simple route and add the other racial suits, and re arrange the bonuses to actually make sense for their roles!

This is partly directed at the forum community, but also partly at the devs. Why are there never just simple, common sense solutions? Why is it always ninja hotfixes and secret updates that break the game more? Why is it seemingly impossible to deliver quality, or at least regularity and consistency? Why do you guys take years to update anything? Why do you not have a short term roadmap? WHY IS DUST SO BROKE?
