I would think there should be some foliage, a river/lake/body of water (maybe an entire planet made of water[with platforms or the introduction of underwater combat(could add new vehicles such as submarines)]) maybe some wildlife occasionally; perhaps a bird or two. With an entire universe(?) at your disposal, the possibilities are endless...why settle for dust&mountainous terrain only?
