So yes, you can pay with ISK to make yourself better (I find that 200 EHP is frequently life or death). Unfortunately, those who are rich can run proto to give themselves the advantage while poor players can't afford proto to combat proto stompers.

......I'm flabbergasted that anyone would have the audacity to ask for ISK in rookie training grounds. If you need ISK, use starter fittings and run ambush. It's a shame that this is what people think will help new players. You can have all the ISK in dust and it still won't make you good at dust. Skill points and training make you good. If you are truly wanting to help the new players, give them advice, invite them to squad, help them choose what they want to skill into and how to traverse the marketplace. I'm just asking you to help the new player experience instead of asking people to throw ISK at them, or you.

I recommend that someone with more ISK than me give some to Fuyetama.

This dude has just come back to a newb character he made quite some time ago, and has discovered that he now has 10 million Skill Points. He is going to need a lot more ISK than he has currently to buy the Skill books he will need to spend that 10 million Skill Points.
