You guys are forgetting dust and eve numbers were counted as one total during the launch of uprising. The number isn't really 3-4K on dust at any given time. prior to uprising it was more like 1-3K

DUST is usually between 3 - 4 k players playing at any one time, the combined total of EVE & DUST players playing concurrently is anywhere from 40 - 54 k

Nope I think he's closer to being right than you give him credit for. We will need a lot of active and aggressive players on over the weekend. I'd rather we be cautious and wrong than him be right and we are all kicking ourselves with only 250,000 extra SP.]]>

even if you triple the games played at any given time, we are still nowhere near a million.

I was low balling it because in situations like these where you have no concretete numbers just estimations it's safer to low ball then overestimate.]]>

If there's 3,500 people online and everyone's playing that's like 109 games going on. Now lets say only half of the people online are playing, that's still 58 games going on.]]>

A single player (or fair-sized corporation, for that matter) can't accurately estimate how many matches occur across FW, PC, and public contracts every day. Without that number we can't estimate how many clones are lost per day. It's silly to try to guess anyway, just play your 10 matches during the window, kill/die a lot and hope we get some kind of a reward.

CCP wouldn't setup the event this way unless we could at least hit the bottom reward tier with minimal participation.
