Sounds like someone has been ANON/Unknown's ***** more than once. Thanks for the easy kills bro! LolLolLol

Man, we must have our hands full, what with all our districts in PC, kicking ass in FW, aaaaaand KDR whoring in pubs. What can I say. I'm a multi-tasker.

Pfft.
Actually, it's from squading with your boys several times and them doing jack **** to win the match. Roof and objective camping way beyond the point of being useful, slow transitioning between objectives - if they were motivated to hack anything at all, generally disorganized, and scared of a few red dot Protos.]]>

I've seen several recent threads from long time vets and some elite players that have been coming up on the forums about trying to help out or at least have some sympathy for the newbros coming into Dust.

I thought it would be interesting to test something out...If you were going to recommend to a newer player (only played for a month or two) to check out corps, which outfits would you steer them to? Who trains, develops, and has a good environment that will keep guys coming back to Dust?

Requested parameters:
1) Can't name your own corps

2) Give 3 to 5 corp options AND rank order them with #1 being the highest recommended.

3) Looking for long term Corps...not specifically the springboard outfits like D-Uni or Learning Coaliiton. Lot of respect for their work but focusing on longer term options.

So...thoughts?

edit: grammer and spelling

Depends I unusually take most in that are month old, then againg I'm the CEO of my Corp...]]>

This. As a matter of fact, I have friends in SVER, but my character here hates that Corp and everyone in it.]]>

Good feedback, guys.

Good point about the flavor or type of corp factors in quite a bit. I guy interested in PC would want to join a PC powerhouse but it would be a long wait time to get into a match with the heavy hitters they have on the depth chart. FW and meta-game oriented also have a slightly different vibe as well. I'm looking to keep it fairly generic...just reputation or community based impression of the Corps guys can look into.

Might be interesting to break it into categories of PC oriented, FW, RP, casual. I'll save that one for another thread.

Unkn0wn killers offers training PCs from time to time in addition to outright just bring in Unknown if we need/want to. We all fight together. There really is no difference from ANON except for the corp tags. And I must say our heavy hitters are amongst the nicest bunch of guys I've met on here. No snobbery or elitism from them what so ever.]]>

This type of new player help is most effective through word of mouth and experience. for example, a player who hears a lot about Molon Labe. or Ancient Exiles may not want such a hardcore game experience. these corps are reputable and therefore have systems in place to develop players, but aren't always in the player's interest

If you could classify the corp archtypes and then build a list of recruiting corps, then you could have this effect. If you want to provide new players a resource for finding corps that support new players, then build a database that they can access.]]>
