EoN I see you there....in your ocean of blues. So "friendly" and cozy. It must be nice. To have blued so many corps or have NaPs with so many others. So you can sit at the top and pretend you are relevant. Truth be told, if any real corp from eve online decided to focus their attention on dust 514, your carebear alliance would be stomped into the mud.
PC is a joke, EoN is making it an even bigger joke by all this crap.

And either way, someone who plays EVE can play DUST as well. It's called diversifying your portfolio. I played EVE for a good number of years and was fairly good at it; I'm sure I could kill you just as effectively in DUST as I could in EVE. The games are not mutually exclusive.
As far EoN goes, and I by no means am speaking for the sentiments of my corp or any of its members, I honestly think it's bound to fall apart eventually. EoN is effectively functioning as an oligarchy in PC which heavily limits competition among the top players, and this creates an atmosphere of not being able to make a move without stepping on someone's toes. |

SyNergy Gaming is the creator of EoN right? Does that make TeamPlayers or Outer Heaven mere attack dogs on a leash? Or are you guys actually top notch players who want to compete for actual power in Molden Heath. As much as I distain troll threads I would like to say a few things regarding the current state of sovereignty in MH.
First, to me EoN. has done a great job bringing together corporations and being able to control a majority of PC. They brought together some of the best players / corps and played the game. This resulted in them being what they are currently. Which is a good & bad thing.
The, good being that if they desired they could take the entirety of MH and split it up into sections among themselves and not let anyone play in their sandbox at all. They also have the power to dictate who participates in PC as an alliance against any other corp / alliance.
The bad part about this is that if any one group starts to gain any type of strength EoN. could just overwhelm them with their power house corps. And, if that proved to be difficult, then the ISK generated from them holding MH could fund a prolonged siege of any opposition's PC holdings. Which could take the competitive aspect out of the game.
However, this is the way the game was designed. It is meant to reward groups of organized power to dominate such aspects of it. We as a community should understand that. If it where your alliance in power you wouldn't be as upset I'm sure.
I encourage other corporations to think outside the box when it comes to this game. You really don't need to be filled the best FPS players to play a major role. I also urge those of you who have narrowed your understanding of this game's Meta aspect to think on a broader scale. I have seen empires fall without a single shot fired. Keep that in mind as you boast of a player base filled with top notch FPS players. All the bullets in the game couldn't stop the onslaught from a carefully planned infiltration of your corporation.
This all being said. I do hope that in the future there can be more areas of New Eden opened for PC. That way smaller corps can be involved as well as having too many districts for a single alliance to control or maintain a police state over. Making way for other alliances to form and gain power in order to have legitimate means of resistance.

o7. What we lack is a raiding system. So the small corps could enjoy going slash and burn type of gameplay against EoN. What scares me the most though is the fact that every day that they spend not fighting makes them even more rich.

My two cents yall are dominating which is the point of any game. But at the same time your killing the game to the point that unless 1.4 and 1.5 live up to the hype the dominating corps in EoN will be all that's left lol. I love this game and I came from COD where most of the dominant players on this game didn't come from but with lacking developements and a small elite group of players dominating a game with a fraction of players that other big titles have this game is doomed. The time to get players hooked is now in between releases of the big titles. But hey just a opinion and good matches tonight against Red Star. other than both of our teams dc'n in the battle it was good stuff lol |

It may take time, but it only takes a single person to plant the seed. EoN Start going Red on people. Or I will get just bored enough to cause some trouble. Run! Eve players are coming to play a FPS! They don't even have to in order to achieve more that EoN has.
EVE players make more ISK in a session of gaming, they actually own the region of Molden Heath (EoN does not unless it has fleets and POS set up), they fight much large and wider battles, and in all honesty playing EVE requires far more skill and intelligence than what we do. |

How many people honestly read and try to understand what the OP in any post is trying to say? And either way, someone who plays EVE can play DUST as well. It's called diversifying your portfolio. I played EVE for a good number of years and was fairly good at it; I'm sure I could kill you just as effectively in DUST as I could in EVE. The games are not mutually exclusive. As far EoN goes, and I by no means am speaking for the sentiments of my corp or any of its members, I honestly think it's bound to fall apart eventually. EoN is effectively functioning as an oligarchy in PC which heavily limits competition among the top players, and this is creating an atmosphere of not being able to make a move without stepping on someone's toes. I for one want to play against TeamPlayers or whoever is considered "best" instead of trying to ally myself with them. Yup, I think it's funny how everyone calls doomsday, that EoN. will last forever and kill the game. Nothing lasts for ever. I have no idea how or when, but it will break up eventually. Its just human nature/entropy. Things fall apart.
I dont forsee it breaking anytime soon or at all all it takes is good leadership and lvl headed ppl to function. ppl who say it will fall apart etc are extremely shortsighted on the vision if they think EoN was just formed for Molden Heath or DUST.
EoN is much more a gaming community than just a dust alliance. Any successful group in EVE will tell u u gotta build a foundation and culture outside the "main" game cuz realistically ppl will not be solely on 1 game for all their life.
EoN will be in a similar fashion to goons and test etc on multiple games as time goes on. U'll see EoN on PS2, BF4, War Thunder, Killzone, GTA V, FFXIV etc etc etc.
Community building is what keeps groups together and builds chemistry and forms friendships. This is what almost every other alliance on this game lacks, a long term vision and proper community building. |

It gives us a bit of an edge in knowing how to fit stuff generally and how to not waste SP. It also gives you a predisposition to prioritize core skills over specialization. Some experienced Eve players will already have a foundational knowledge about running a corp, roles, proper communication, diplomacy, operational security, comms discipline, as well as the spy/intel metagame. Merely having access to an Eve account provides an advantage in terms of easier email communication (much longer character limit and easier editing), and easier access to corp history.
But no amount of instant battles or spaceship flying will prepare you for the corp-battle meta.

Also, I'd like to meekly point out that being (ostensibly) blue to an EoN corp doesn't mean they won't attack your district regardless, making a tidy sum in the process. Now if you'll excuse me I need to apply some topical analgesic directly to my anus. |
