(tl;dr: merge an alt to a main to have all assets, SP and isk on one character)
Here's background info first. I have two characters in Dust my main San 27 and my alt San 91. San 91 was used regularly at the beginning of open beta due too low amounts of SP and the fact that I've always liked to go tanking every now and then. This means that San 91 has many assets aswell as BPO's of his own, which nowadays don't get too see the light of day as I don't use him very often now that I have 10 million SP on my main.
I'm sure many people have alts that are in the same situation as mine, so how about adding the ability for characters on the same account too be merged into one so that all assets, isk, SP and stats are on the same character.
So far I've thought of only one problem with such merges. That is SP, say I've got SP dedicated to the HMG operation skill on both characters, San 27 has the skill to level 5 and San 91 has level 1. What would happen to the 12 odd thousand SP that was granted to level 1, would it simply disappear into the void or would it be added onto my current unallocated SP pool. Which some may see as an exploit and/or cheat for what ever reason they choose.
One last thing, in order too prevent people creating new characters just so that they may merge with their main and gain 500 000 SP and 250 00 isk for free. I'd suggest a tax on the character that is to be merged with the least amount of SP and isk, lets say 500 000 SP and 250 000 isk ;)
If anyone has questions or further ideas please comment and lets get CCP's true attention |

They are not going to merge SP. But once trading/secondary market exists you'll be able to move across the assets and isk no problem. |

I'm honestly not that bother with the sp transfer, I just thought that this would be an easy tool to implement whilst CCP figure out all the kinks for the highly complicated player trading market |

No. This doubles your sp cap. Also u just make alts, go to academy and dominate, no cap in academy, merge rinse and repeat. Blatent boosting with no rink to your presious proto junk or you kd ratio or whatever else you care about. Not saying you will do it but others will period, I mean . |

There is a simple solution too these problems which is, the merge only adds items to one character. No sp, isk or stats merged. I only really want such a feature so that my main can have the vehicle and shinweave BPO's that are on my alt, added sp and isk would merely be a bonus for my main. But as you said people would exploit for stats and farming |

Upon merger "charge" main character with 500k SP. There is no need to charge ISK for this as you are free to transfer ISK to whomever you want now. I often donate ISK from my disposable training alt to my main.
Also put 9 hour cooldown for mergers. Just like when biomassing. Or maybe change biomassing in such a way it asks you to which character you want your assets, ISK and SP be transferred to. What about WP? And fittings? |

No transfer of sp wp or stats. Isk transfers between alts I don't even like personally as it is going to be used for farming BUT people will just make other psn accounts and no way to stop those transfers. Gear transfers?? Maybe get one undo in case you apply gear to the wrong toon by accident but not unlimited transfer of gear to minimize said farming. Definitely NO sp transfers or merges is the main thing. My opinion. |

That won't happen since you could have douple Capped out on two accounts and would have merged them would be just unfair. Maybe if you ask CCP about the BPO's to move they would say ok but merch? no. |

No because people now close to 20M SP on their mains would instantly hit 35 to 50 M SP. ( myself included... Even tho it'd be nice it would also be so wrong...) Would you like 50M SP monsters around?
And yes I SO regret to use alts on same PSN account, lost all that free passive SP. But still 'no' is the answer.
