Was wondering what everyone thinks about this idea well you know how Nanite Injectors are pretty much just spammed? The only reason they aren't used as efficiently is because they are temporarily broken. But people would just pick there downed ally up 10 times in a row and it was pretty frustrating especially if you only had an AR left. How about instead of just stabbing someone with a needle the logi actually acts like a medic now.
New Nanite Injector animation would work like this
Logi moves over dead body and clicks + holds R1 animation starts of Logi pushing on downed mercs chest and checking for vitals a 2 second animation. While this is being done a circular bar loads swiftly once loaded the Logi puts the needle in the chest of the merc reviving him.
I think the current animation is to fast and not immersive the new animation would make it seem like the Logi/medic is checking for vitals and doing everything a medic would do not just running up to someone and stabbing him with a giant needle which would probably kill him. |

And sorry guys this probably would be a nerf but nothing really noticeable you would just have to think about when you wanted to run over to a dead ally and pick him up. |

I don't really get it, I think you had a bad experience with nanite injectors and are posting this. Nanite injectors are broken because it is very difficult to find the spot to press O to revive your teammate, leaving you out in the open to get killed. Also checking vitals takes a lot longer than 2 seconds, and I don't really need to check your vitals if your face just got shot off I'm pretty sure your dead. Why do you keep saying Logi by the way, assaults can use nanite Injectors also.
Also if you think randomly stabbing somebody with a needle is dangerous, look at BF3 where you randomly run up to a dead person and shock them before even checking if their heart has stopped. |

This isn't removing needles its simply adding a two second animation plus you can quickly pick someone up after hes redowned a quick animation would give you time to counter the medic. |

Because obviously logis are mainly medics not all assault classes run with a nanite injector and I run a logi with a nanite injector. It is not difficult to find the spot it is almost always at the mercs feat now but sometimes it just doesn't work and you can not inject the downed person.

This new effect will add immersion the medic checks the downed team mate for signs then picks him up would go from a 1 second animation to a 3 second animation no big deal. |

A just downed player already goes thru a 1 second animation of standing up...THAT is your window to kill him AND shoot his/her corpse for good measure. In addition, a logi takes a 1 second animation to revive someone. In that time he/she is vulnerable and unable to shoot. Do not punish a logi that is meant to do the job. Instead, take the windows of opportunity that were given to u. There arent enough support logis on the battlefield already (no, an uplink logi isnt a support logi, its a douchebag) |

as a logi myself, I do NOT give this thread an approval.
the needle is good ATM, but it needs to be easier to actually revive a teammate.
if you want to stop the free WP from people reviving you, they could make it so you do not get the points after the first consecutive revive on a player, and make it so that the second down, the player can choose to decline the revive, and just re-spawn.
the problem is not large, however, so I do not think it would be necessary to implement this method in the near future |

It's not really a nerf as much as it is immersion the logi feels the chest then picks then needles the player. I too am a logistic so I know what it is like and I still think this idea would make the nanite injector more immersive. |

It's immersive (and difficult!) enough as it is. What you're suggesting would cripple the nanite injector, making it nearly unusable. |

Needle mechanic is fine as it, that is if it would get fixed. The way it's supposed to work is that you can only pick someone up if they requested the help. Generally it works like that but not always.
