So First off the gun was a crutch. I've seen new players skill right into it and be beast with it.
It took lots of Skill Points to use but very little actual player skill.
People that used Modded controllers, thats just plain dirty, and sometimes is banned on the competitive level.
People with actual good trigger fingers, i applaud you, but it sucks that the weapon is a crutch.
It may not be a crutch for everybody, some players are really good with anything, but if your one of those really good players and you used a Tac. Shame.
I'm not complaining because the gun killed me a lot, as a heavy it's hard for me to die from just one person but i know it's a huge annoyance to those who don't have over 1000 total health.

The ROF couldnve been ok.
Games like Battlefiield have really good recoil mechanics and the battle rifles in that game can fire pretty fast and deal damage over any range. But the guns have alot of recoil that can get out of control if you just spam away.
imo they should overhaul the basic shooting mechanics now that the TAR has been dealt with.

To be honest i was running around in a scout suit with under 250 hp and a Tac duvolle with 2 damage mods and i didnt even mind them... They were just over used because someone said they were strong so everyone jumped aboard the bandwagon... the regular duvolle assault rifle can do more damage up close if you spend time using it...
btw im still using tac AR cause i still love the scout tac AR combo =) |

My alt broke his leg falling out of the MCC, so I gave him two TACs to use as crutches. Worked great! |

Battlefield 3 has very good recoil mechanics, unlike dust where you hardly get any at all. |

At least from the notes it doesnt seem Like CCP over nerfed it, i was hoping it would still be useable just so it adds more variety to the game |

That is not true. I tried the TAC and then went back to the standard AR because i did better with the standard AR...perhaps it does take lots of SP to be good with it.
But that can be said with everything in this game from shields to armor to speed to mini map detection to hacking.
If it takes lots of Sp to get the beast mode then the problem is with the SP/level system not the TAC. |

It's not lots of Skill points, under 600,000 if my memory serves me right, that includes getting the Duvolle Tac. |
