I'm having issues using the nanite injector after the uprising update. It seems the the revive request icon is off by quite a bit, leaving the logi players running around in circles, trying to find the invisible spot that will allow for a revive. It certainly isn't on the corpse of the fallen.
Also, speaking of revive requests, I get that it was changed to not show, unless the player actively asks for the revive, but alot of players don't see the option for the request, and get upset when the logi players run past. We simply can't distinguish downed friendlies from downed foes, and activating the request on the map screen feels clunky and slow. Especially as people see the map screen as a prompt that they are fully dead, rather than downed.
My suggestion, in short, is if the player is downed, they can look around whilst on the ground, and request revives as before. If they are fully dead, go straight to the map. |

YES !!! Also don't make it so that the injector icon first appears when someone has asked for a revive because NO ONE KNOWS THIS !! Everybody as said just chooses a new spawn without actually pressing help before they look at a new spawn. This way logistics are really just ( as said ) running in circles around a corps having no way to tell if he's dead or not.
Make it as before so that they always have the revive icon showing when they are downed.
PLEASE HOTFIX SOOO CONFUSING !!! |

Agreed I've played over 15 matches and only been able to revive 1 teammate. This needs fixed soon. |

yeah having this problem me and another logi where dancing around a team mate for a good 20 sec trying to revive him, it was quite near a sloop so i think that put it off in this case
also in patch notes Added the ability to use the nanite injector even when you do not have it selected
anyone worked out how? |

Why can't they just let the guy drop where he's goddamn shot. I don't give a DAMN about their precious rag-doll physics if it positively ruins my play style. The 'guy not at the icon' thing has chafed me for so long now, so excuse the anger now that they made it worse. |

I agree.
Of all of the nerfs, this is the only one that I think is game breaking.
Nanite Injectors are critical to clone conservation, but they have become nearly impossible to use. |

For me I had a message saying "tap circle to revive teammate", this took out the injector and (I think) I tapped circle again to reveive. I can't remember if there was an indicator (the needle icon) to say he was down or it was pure luck he died in front of me. |

Im having issues both ways reviving and getting revived, when it flips to the map on a 5 point map its hard to select my dead body to ask for a revive, its not exactly easy or fluid on any map. How hard would it be to add a button push on the screen that shows who downed you saying 'tap O to ask for a revive or X to respawn'.
I can't revive anyone and use an AR so I could do more damage spitting at the enemy now and they have to be close enough with an AR now to be able to spit at em to be able to do any damage.
Off topic i know but im guessing this thread will be visited by predominently logis, even in a proto suit with 585 armour and 134 sheild, laser rifles are dropping me in under 2 seconds, so the AR gets raped cos of all the whingers, yet a laser thats not ,supposed to be that effective against armour and everyone I speak to doesn't seem to have the same issue against lasers but I cannot move from cover( if I can find some) if theres a laser about. IS IT JUST ME? |

If you missed it earlier there was a significant amount of QQ regarding getting revived when it wasn't wanted. Pressing the Circle was beyond the ranters to handle so it looks like the Kitten Crowd got their way.
So, get on Team Speak and tell them that to be revived they need to ask for help with X in the spawn map.
Until it starts becoming common place I am switching my cheap two slot suit to Rep and Hive. They work without getting an engraved invitation to the dance.
And, yes, I have not revived anyone so far. I spent more time in the Skill Tree than in battle. |

I am having real issues as a Logi, now that my SP (4.2mil) gets me nothing compared to what it did before. I used to run a Logi Type-I (with enhanced modules) and have a fully upgraded AR, with lots of advanced equipment etc, and be able to hold my own on the field and support my squad/team well. Now I am stuck in an extremely inferior dropsuit (only 90 Shield and no extender slots?!!), with standard equipment (this I can handle), a weak AR with no range (annoying), and no extra skills like drop uplinks and hacking. It seems to me that the skill gap between players around my level and those who have been in since the closed beta has widened incredibly. I may only have 4.2mil SP but I was able to do a good job even against experienced players before this update, now I can't support my squad/team because I am being taken out within seconds of seeing any enemies. It feels like I have just picked up the game for the first time and am starting from scratch. I need to speak to some logis of different skill levels to see what the general consensus is, but I am feeling royally screwed over. But hey, let's see what happens, it looks like players of all roles are kinda disgruntled after this update. I feel your pain people. |

Even in corp squad on full comms, I was finding it impossible to find downed teammates with this new system.
And on the other end, finding it REALLY unintuitive to call for help, having to go to the new overmap just to press the button, and god forbid you are revived at the same moment you hit button to get to said map.
This has really been the only issue I've had so far with the game, and I just can't figure out why it was put in. Enormous step backwards. |
