Everytime there's a cry for SP reset you're basically telling CCP there idea of SP system is broken. The problem you guys bring up - newbs can't compete - vs what vets are saying - is a big scream into the sky that SP matters so much. Heck yea it matters a lot - but that doesn't change from 10 years from now. What then? More resets to keep everyone happy and coming back? No, SP depravity is GOING TO HAPPEN. If it happened already that's a shame since the new modes aren't out - sorry but deal with it. If they did anything now it would go against EVERYTHING CCP says they stand for as a gaming company. Watch there HTFU video.
So if you continue to ask for SP resets I'm going to troll you because I believe in what CCP is doing. Sorry you guys lack faith or are too butt hurt vets destroy you - which probably has nothing to do with SP.
I hear PFBHz will take in scrubs now if you need somewhere to hide from big bad SP grinders. |

I totally agree It's not a lot of Sp that makes a player its Actually FPS Skill.
You could have 10 million skill points but suck against a guy with 5 million skill points because he is better at the game then you are.
Skill point's matter but actually fps skill matters Way more |

I don't agree with you completely. I don't really care about a SP reset, but I would appreciate even a slight refund when new skills are released, and when starting out, noobs should receive a booster until they're about 3 million SP in. Then they can do whatever they want. |

When racial suits come out I believe CCP should refund just SP spent on suits so people can properly re-allocate choices they didn't have before hand and thus were forced. |

I have only been playing a week or so now, at 1st I was waiting on some friends to find me, so I jumped in a public game....almost rage quit. I thought the balance or something was right off, but then you learn people have actual acquired there power though playing. (other worry was pay 2 win, which isn't the case)
Now I'm putting up a decent fight, still underpowered but as OP said, FPS skill is still required, and bar a few fights where I am just outclassed in either Power, skill or both, I'm coming out of 90% of matches up on kdr, not through hiding, just not trying to tank a proto, or bite more than i can chew. Knowing your own power, and how to use it, when underpowered in a fight, cover and numbers can make the difference. So rather than think the game is broken or unbalanced assess yourself, Does your skill selection work with your playstyle, does your skill level work with your skill selection, how are most gun fights ending (out ranged, out damaged, out lived(last 2 mainly co-inside), out maneuvered or just plainly out skilled) then figure out by reading skill descriptions on what can help you boost yourself. There are more aspects to loss but they're the easiest to address. Then always remember, you will never be the best.
Main problem is today 's gamers are needy and spoiled rotten. |

SP isn't what's going to save a noob from a proper player. The reason people look at high SP numbers and see them do well, isn't because they have a high SP number, its because they're good enough to get high amounts of SP. |

The sad thing is, some people think otherwise. That's the problem, people see higher SP and instantly think that's the reason they are better. |

definitely +1 to this !! heard the same that when all fx assault suits are made available the sp you've put into caldari assault suit will be refunded so you can spec into that specific faction assault suit you want. All the new weapons and equipment that's being added well no one have had a choice to spec into those so everybody kind of "started from scratch" regarding things there's no comparison to. (like scanners, shield generators etc etc)
So stop asking for a reset ..... if you skilled into MD's well...... stop shooting your feet and cry about you wanting a scrambler rifle instead but you couldn't therefore you want a reset |

Save for the fast that the higher you get the less able lower SP players are to compete. It's a case of runaway leader/king making. At least until a character build is done with a fully spec'ed character happening at around the 7mil mark (in the current build).
The SP curve dictates you either keep with the pack or get left behind to play with the next wave (assuming there is one). this is why we get so many SP farmers, they know they have to keep with the curve but playing the game at this point hold no benefit save for ego stroking.
Due to the fact that this build cap exists, the playing field will even out if everything stays the same. But we all know that the new build is impending so they will just raise the ceiling once more.

People need to look less at the now and more to the next month right now. Get grinding and preparing for the next month, that's all we can do. Nothing in any of these threads discussing reset is anything new to CCP and they've already made there decision. Just enjoy life peeps :P |

This type of refund is he only justified type of refund and only once. If they add more suits later the skill tree would have to drastically change to warrent a respec. |
