This is unneeded, and would add another high-res model that we don't need (either that or have an ugly low-res body, which is worse than none at all). It would also be overlooked, and no one would really care about if they could see their feet while in combat. They know they have them. |

No one cares. I play halo and see my two feet but no one seemed to give a crap about that. |

Actually, it can, especially if it's very close to you, which would require higher resolution textures than normal. And a more complex model. Not to mention that player models most certainly have multiple textures. |

It's a nice feature but this is a console game and the system resources are too stretched for that. |

I don't know if resources would be stretched to the point where rendering the lower body becomes unfeasible, since games like Halo and Battlefield 3 (to name two) can do it just fine. Then again, this is a larger game than either title, and I don't develop games, so I'm not sure how much resources this would actually take.

I don't think this would add another model, since we already seem to have the player model used on the MQ/Warbarge that we can use. You are right that the lower body would probably be overlooked after a while, but having legs and feet (and hands when climbing ladders for that matter) would add to general immersion. |
