I am curious if I can one shot burst a proto suit by holding the sights with good aim it could be a awesome new gun in the HMG world.
Not to go against you Taste but if HMGs still work better then last build I think they are great then.
They don't work better than last build less damage per shot, but they are more accurate at close range, which. Makes them better and worse.
Better cause if you can keep your fire on someone its lights out. Worse if they move about cause you do less damage.
The proto burst hmg can not take out an average suit with one burst even if all shots connect, but the truth is most miss.
However I do see the burst HMG as the masters weapon. If someone can get really good with it it will be a great weapon.
I hope many people spend lots of time and money on this endeavour.
I personally will just side step them if they come at me. It has a huge flaw. |

If by blast build you mean codex then no it isnt, if you mean precursor then yes its still better than back then.
Doom mode is just lame, make aiming more difficult as well as killing what little staffing speed we had. |

I never hide the fact i found HMG to be way too beasty in Codex. With the movement nerf, evading line of fire even with a fast assault suit was near impossible. And i dont get the complains, HMG seems to have a narrower fire cone but they still do heavy damage when caught in the fire.
Also, they slow you down like hell.
And by the way, damage gap has been reduced on all weapons. I dont see why HMG should have been dealt with any differently.
Conclusion, as the guy in front of the HMG, i didnt notice any big difference except feeling they spray less than before. |

^^ i agree, i think the main gripe there is there is really no point to use the upgraded versions now because of the price gaps being way too big and it not being worth it to pay 4x the ISK for 0.8 damage increase.
