If it doesn't, I will be very, very, VERY sad...because just a damage increase/charge reduction would be the worst thing.
In fact, all of the Officer gear better have some unique part about them that makes us want to use them instead of just holding them in our inventories.
The Gatsun's forge is my favorite example:
6 shots instead of 4
Fastest charge time (similar to assault)
Can hold a charge (similar to standard)
It combines the best parts of the variants and adds more ammo for one beast of a weapon.
We don't want officer weapons like the Krin's...which is just a Duvolle with 150% ammo
The officer mass driver should in theory be similar to both the standard and assault...
170 splash
at least 8 rounds (hoping for 9 or 10)
75-90 ROF
Either way, I'm just glad that they'll at least exist now.

Well since CCP confirmed that they will be dropping from salvage, the only reason to no-life this event is to name a weapon.
As long as you actually play you'll get them all eentually
I just want a reason to actually use the ones I get...instead of just having them just sit there and look pretty because they are barely any different from the proto ones.
