And just tried the railgun out using 2 advanced damage mods and 2 shield hardeners with a nitro both, and EWWW. It was a PC, still topped the WP, but EWWWWWWW.
Railguns are disgusting now, and clearly shield tanks are the way to go. But did they change acceleration cause my **** felt clunky, or am I just used to driving an LAV now.
4th shot over heat, WTF. Damage modded tanks are out, shield hardened tanks are in. Maddies are just GAY. Good thing I spec'ed forge guns! |

i flew grims and incubus around about 5 games and feel it's pretty balanced, i just have to take SL more serious now, it's not as bad as i thought it was gonna be but my squad was also pushing on the ground and accepting transport plus i use a reliable gunner.

Only thing I had trouble with (until recently) was the tripple rep maddy...AV squad still takes those down...that's all my corp did for a while, call in my tank, use it as bait for the other tanks, squadmates get out PLC + swarms...kills just about anything. I usually loose the tank, but we usually get 2 or 3 tank kills per loss... |

FGs were fine as soon as they nerfed hardeners; the only thing you couldn't solo was triple reps, and with some packed AV that was a close run thing too :)
