They are best against armor and shields respectively. I don't know if one can be "better" than the other.

If the opponent is Gallente or Amarr, then the Magsec wins. If the Opponent is Caldari or Minmatar, the Plasma Rifle wins.

I think the kick really hurts it for both hipfire and ADS.
But I'd say they were pretty equal, simply because there is usually more armour to kill. But in raw performance I would give it to the GeK.

Or the breach , to me is just as good if you want to talk about kick .. even though the SMG is devastating when it's maxed out as well .
It does do a good job but it's prob one of the more balanced weapons and with the damage and the damage mod adjustments .. really have done a great job as far as bring the infantry weapons all in line and that includes anti-vehicle to me as well .
It's not going to be hard to balance all weapons now and all of this at the end helps legion with coding so that game shouldn't be that hard to get going and progress , also it's what some of the main problems are and it's weapons balance .
The honor of the vets who biomassed will never be forgotten and will always be upheld until the very end .

I meant the N-7 Magsec kick was too high to give it a real advantage over the gek(just to be clear)
The gek has some kick, but no where near the N-7.

Charge up on Mag Sec gives the win to the AR. But you're talking about a sidearm against a light weapon so....there's that. IMO my Dren assault C-1 with a MD and MagSec was better than an equivalent commando with MD and AR would be.
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.
