It's one thing to like walking in stations, it's another to like poorly conceived ideas on the monetization of in-game items. I'm going to have myself an educated guess and say the quote is from someone who was guilty of the former rather than the latter. Because, you know, Incarna wasn't just about buying in-game items with real-world money.

Overall people weren't pissed about Incarna introducing WiS (walking in station). It was the execution of the expansion that pissed everyone off.
If you think about it, the Jita Riots that came immediately after Incarna was the very reason why Dust 514 suffered development delays.

FFS the had to revert to Incursion for a few days so they could build a toggle to turn station walking on/off.
and people are butthurt for a sloppy fanfest video.
