Secondly, next patch puts Commandos second in line to the Scouts. :D I skilled into the suit the first day it came out, and so far, it's done me wonders. Let me put it this way so you can understand:
1. Before 1.8, I can stick TWO Complex Damage Mods, and an Enhanced Armor Plate WITH a Viziam Scrambler Rifle, and Duvolle Assault Rifle with a Compact Nanohive without ANY...TROUBLE...AT...ALL when your PG/CPU skills are at 5!
2. You can mow down up to 6-7 assault suits if used properly, and after that...if you're talented enough, you can take down a HEAVY in the midst of it all!
3. When at full health, you can lay out a heavy easy, almost no problems whatsoever. Their HMG doesn't even scare you because of your health. When you fire at them from a distance, they drop flat. If they're close enough, your health doesn't drop fast enough for them to take you head on with your damage output.
4. The two complex damage mods makes assault suits seem like scouts.
5. If you run out of ammo on gun, you have another as backup that's just as powerful, and won't let you down in a situation unlike a sidearm if you didn't deal enough damage.
6. You have more than 1000 primary rounds when both of your guns ammo capacities are combined, that's just as much as a HMG, and you dish out just as much damage as an HMG if you have one gun for sheilds, and another for armor. :3
7. You can dual weild swarms, allowing you to take out tanks easier, also allowing for two complex damage mods. Screw your hardeners if I so choose to.
8. You can one shot a scout, and if you break their sheilds, you can one shot a Caldari Assault with melee. Those scouts that run up close to you and run in circle around you; no problem if you punch 'em on time.
9. You an use a nanite injector to have your teammates charge with you as you keep pressure on the enemy lines.
10. A logistics has to heal less armor, therefore giving them more time to focus on other things than just keeping the heavy alive.
I can continue this list forever, but those were the ones off the top of my head. Me using a Commando is my choice, and it works wonders so far, Patrick. Yeah, there's a few kinks they need to work out, but what everyone makes them out to be is the exact opposite of what you can make it into. It just takes a little polish like any other damn thing in this game, and with the Commando, it's not as apparent as it would be with others roles. So...with all due respect, if you see me, try to kill me. :3 I can outclass you in damage any day, and in reload speed as well. You'll be swiss cheese before you even break my sheilds. :D And that's a measly 390 HP.
