Why can a vehicle on the ground even SLIGHTLY tank an orbital strike from space?
Those guns are bigger than the tanks themselves.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

the OB or the warbarge strike, because I assure you I've not seen a tank withstand a tactical lazor barrage.

I saw a tactical laser heavily damage a tank, though that tank survived.

The turrets are of the small variety, if they where to powerful, there would be no need to implement OB ammo for medium and big turrets ever...
We havn't seen it all yet. This game is still struggling to reach beta stage.
Patience young one we will see so many shiny things in the future SOON (so be patient for the next 10 Years)... |

I've popped many tanks with the warbarge OB and tactical laser s OB.
I could list the ways how we Amarr are better than you, but your lesser mind wouldn't comprehend it.

The effect is pathetic if you have just one turret, so it's not that far off. A proper OB ship has 8 Turrets, so it does 8 times that damage.
Also turret type has no effect, which is also stupid... but hey pre alpha you know... LOL |

The only thing that can take out a tank semi-reliably is a JLAV.

How big is the blaster turret,? I know it uses 80GJ to power it, but what's it's bore size?
Also, 75mm, 125mm, and 150mm are railguns. So what's the bore of the 80GJ rail gun?

causes its CCP I dare say the rail gun is 125mm and in the future it will be used to fire into space at frigates.
ac are in the same range, artillery a bit bigger, same with blasters

How much capacitor need do the railguns have what's the activation cos... Probably no logic there either... |
