I would like a nice shiny Bike to drive around on to get to objectives.
.) low ehp, but incredibly fast and easy to maneuver over terrain.
.) Running people over with this vehicle would cause the driver and victim to both die instantly, Suicide to driver.
.) Hitting a moving target would be very difficult.
.) Crashing at maximum speeds would cause the driver to propel forwards and take serious damage, if not die.
.) Very low lock-on range for swarms, around 100m.(small vehicle gives off a lower electric pulse)
- Amar - balance between armor an shields, slowest speed.
- Calari - High Shields, low armor, medium high speed.
- Gallente - High Armor, low shields, medium speed.
- Minmatar - Low armor, low shields, Fastest speed
I die alot AND have fun... Who knew?

I would expect more a quad-bike than a motorcycle, other than that, IGÇÖm for this suggestion.

But it is on CCP's planned features list. There are images of what the Caldari and Gallente speeders will look like from fanfest.

EDIT: Also, switch the Gallente and Caldari speed profiles, and that's how it will be.
EDIT 2: Also, the insta-kill thing makes no sense due to the inertia tech we have in New Eden. That's why getting hit by a FOrge doesn't just outright ROFL stomp vehicles. |

Sorry, I don't know where in the videos the speeders have been mentioned. You'll have to watch the whole thing.
CCP, thank you for hotfixing the knives. But please make sure they're at their full potential in 1.7.

Let's face it, taking long distances of terrain on foot is boring and tedious. Not to mention, being picked off by a sniper on the way to the next objective is infuriating. We need a cheap form of personal transport that won't be denied or blown away before it even touches the ground.
Here's my list of essentials for personal transport, whether they are motorcycles or speeders:
Delivered Holographically, Not By Dropship
Lone wolf mercs like scouts need concealment and timeliness. They don't need to be waiting around on dropships only to give away their position. Have the personal transport appear holographically in front of them. Personal vehicle delivery should not be limited to the restrictions of dropship delivery. They should be able to holographically appear behind the redline and on top of structures and uneven terrain.
Do Not Count Against Team Vehicle Cap
Every merc should be able to use a personal transport, not just the lucky few who happen to request one first.
Cheap and Disposable
This form of transportation should be inexpensive to use. A personal transport is smaller than a LAV, so it should be much cheaper. A merc shouldn't lose a lot of money if the vehicle is stolen by team mates, hacked, destroyed or lost.
Wicked Acceleration
A personal transport should be the choice vehicle when you need to get out of Dodge fast.
Low Scan Profile
Emphasize the covert nature of this class of vehicle.
Launch Off Of Buildings
If a merc happens to get a personal transport up onto a building, whether by holographic delivery or otherwise, then the merc should be able to launch off of it. Launching is a cool aspect of motorcycle riding.

On last fanfest CCP show some concepts, thoughm there is one thing youre wrong:
Amarr have the toughest armor, ships that have tanking bonuses have 4% increased armor resistance per level.
Gallente have the best armor active tanking, ships that have tanking bonuses have 5% of Repair amount per level.
Caldari have the toughest shields, ships that have tanking bonuses have 4% increased shield resistance per level.
Minmatar have the best active shield tanking, ships that have tanking bonuses have 5% of Shield boost amount per level, however, due to its balance with armor and shields and slot layout (amount of med/low slots) most ships are viable with any tanking choice.
Just FYI, it annoys me quite much see people that dont know anything about new eden's races features speaking lightly.
