Throughout this weekend(and now today as well) I have been stuck in my merc quarters waiting for the game to allow me to move. It has been freezing and stalling as soon as I leave the announcement screen. And before anyone asks, I only have 5 chat channels(including local) open and at this time of day, less then 20 mercs are online. I tried rebooting the game, logging on as an alt, even switching servers and it seen to have gotten worse.
Please tell me I'm not the only one having this issue. I'd put in a ticket, but seeing as its lag it's not permitted. Does anyone out there know a way to help alleviate the problem?

@ LT: already tried that, worked long enough to change servers.
@Jack: got a 2gb commercial connection through my job(perks of working for the makers of the best servers in the world)It only happens on this game. |

Ya LAG as well. Tried everything on my end and came to the conclusion its dust. My wife was using a laptop and a MAC at the same time with no LAG on her end. Played another game on PS3 online with higher player base with wife still on MAC and Laptop and I had no lag. Ran a scan on my internet connection and saw little change in download and upload speeds when I am playing dust or other PS3 online games. The issue has to be there server timing out possibly, I heard you can change your frame rate and this might help. I had mine on 1080 going to switch to 720 and see if this helps. |

This is spam, clicked on the link and it wants me to buy an item to clean up my MAC. Please flag this. My MAC is less than a year old and I am in college to be IT in security so I do not need someone to send me to a website that peddles there software. If this was out of kindness a word of advise most sights as the one you are posting have spyware, maleware, or trojans built into there software to track or to use you computer as a BOT. TY if you were trying to help, but I have software that does this for me along with other items to help defend against the sludge of the net. |
