No only noob would call it that kind gun. Smg,sniper both long or cqc. We need mid armor gun for damn 80% community armor tank.

MD is a gun, you don't get to make whatever definition suits your silly opinions.

You never mentioned anything in the OP about specifically medium range weapons. The Caldari rail rifle, and Minmatar combat rifle should fill the role of mid range weapons that do more damage to armor.

The slow projectile speed of the MD coupled with the gravitational drop of the grenade projectile makes the MD require good tracking and predicting skills at mid-long ranges; you have to take the enemy's speed into account, and aim for where the enemy will be instead of where they currently are. The fact that the MD has much lower damage pr second (even if all grenades are direct hits) then an AR makes it far from a "noob" weapon.

80% of the community do not armor tank, you are just plain wrong. Stop pulling **** out of your ass.
