I've skilled into both prototype logistics and assault on the Caldari side, and in my honest opinion the logi tops the assault in survivability and even average kills/match. I find this a little bit disappointing, as this shows a complete disregard for the balancing of suits and their functionality on CCP's part.
Here's my proposal, substitute a low slot for a 4th equipment slot on the cal-logi, making them harder to dual tank and giving them a legitimate logistics role comparable to the Gallente in terms of team support abilities. I'm willing to bet more players have a caldari logi with 1000 HP than those who have a single piece of proto equipment. |

1: Gallente should be the only one with 4 eq. slots. No.
2: Like I have been saying, nerf the damage on Logi-wielded weapons by 20%, and then boost the power of eq. by 25%.
3: Make damage mods cost a little bit more on Logi suits (other than maybe the Amarr one) to not promote using them on Logi suits, and using the slot for something else.
4: Logi's should have more tank than Assaults, as they need more tank to hang with Heavies and vehicles, as well as pick people up (if they're going down a medic path). |

logi suits aren't being used for their purpose. but then again there is cvery little attraaction to them for low levels. the suits are squishy, the equipment is crap, you die and make no isk. so.. make it appealing to play as a proper logi and nerf damage |

Or just normalize the high low slot layout with the assaults, on ALL Races, except maybe the Amarr.
That way, both can tank similarly, but it's the bonuses that need to make one preferential over the other, along with the sidearms and equipment slots. |
