As per the most recent patch notes:
"* Implemented idle timer to prevent AFK farming in battle ground or MCC. Players not performing any PVP action in a certain period of time will be kicked out of the game."
Does this mean that, as a sniper, camping an objective without firing for a few minutes is going to get me booted? Or is a "PVP action" simply any consistent control input?
I already die instantly in my scout suit if sighted and hit.... I really hope that my ability to sit still and scan the battlefield from on high has not been done away with. Otherwise I'll have to run a militia assault fitting until they fix it in 1.?.
While I appreciate the substantial looking update, I'd like to have a definition of a "PVP action" as well as the parameters of that "certain period of time" if at all possible.
Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to the Scout Hugs alluded to in 1.5. |

Say goodbye to the idea of a Transport Dropship pilot ever being a possibility, now not only do you not get paid/wp for what you do, but you're going to get kicked anyways, lol xD

I believe "PVP action" is simply a other term of "shot your gun or get shot at" |

I think the timer is designed to prevent farming or something (afk? not sure what that means..) i'm sure even if you sit still for two whole minutes straight you wont get booted. |

I assume that driving/piloting any vehicle is considered a PVP action. CCP knows that dropship pilots earn approximately 0 WP, that seems to be their intent, so it would be pretty stupid to kick them out of the game. |

I imagine what constitutes PVP action would include aiming and moving around and certainly would include piloting a vehicle. |

I'm pretty sure PVP action just means "Moving about".
If you decide to take a leisurely stroll in the mountains picking berries, or if you desperately need to have a sanitairy stop you won't be kicked. Only posing in the MCC will give you the boot i think. |
