Now: 3 "socket dynamic" maps (Spine Crescent, Skim Junction, Iron Delta) 3 static maps (Manus peak, Ashland, line harvest) 3 large sockets (Biomass, Orbital Arty, Communications)
3x3 + 3 = 12
1.4
+3 "socket dynamic" maps +1 large socket
= 27 map combinations. |

Yeah, the dusk mood already screws me up. We'll have to use LAVs or something to compensate for how dark its going to be I think. |

Yeah there are at least 6 medium sockets that I can think of that are rotated on B and C. Although I think B is medium and C is small...but don't know for sure.
At B: I think there are 2 cities one w/ skyscraper, and one that is lower. There is the 'distribution facility' one that is partly underground. There is the 'minor canopy' that is on line harvest and spine crescent. Also, there is a 'major canopy' that is more square that you can't get up on w/o a dropship. There's also the 'landing pad' one with the supply depot up on a pad above the main area.
The small sockets that are at C are often randomly distributed on other maps. There are probably 8-10 of them by now. |

If the major canopy one is the one I am thinking of with cat walks and the hacking point inside the objective then you dont need a DS to get on top of it, you can walk up the corners of the building |

I know what you are talking about. That's what I'm referring to as the distribution facility, because it as containers being lowered into it. The 'major canopy' has the same map asset that a lot of people call the 'table' on line harvest in the very center of the map. It has a wrecker and truck out front concieling the supply depot with a CRU in the back. |

Manus peak isn't static (I'm still considering line harvest to be static since the sockets are in the redzone) , but the changing sockets are medium and small. |

Manus Peak is not static, it contains a medium and small socket. Besides that, I'm fairly confident it will more than double map combos.
1 new large socket (aka Outposts) 2 new medium sockets 4 new small sockets
Manus Peak (1 medium, 1 small) = 2 x 4 = 8 new possible configurations Skim Junction (1 large, 2 small) = 1 x 4^2 = 16 new possible configurations Iron Delta (1 large, 2 small) = 1 x 4^2 = 16 new possible configurations Spine Crescent (1 large, 2 medium) = 1 x 2^2 = 4 new possible configurations
And then we have the 3 new maps (Impact Ridge, Fracture Road, and Border Gulch) which I am not sure of their socket set up, but it will add even more. Now of course this is all the possible configurations using only the new stuff, who knows if we will actually see them all (like how on Spine Crescent we never really see the medium sockets change).

Yeah like I kinda of hinted before, if you count mediums it is even more, but they tend to make a bit less of a difference or don't really rotate on some maps, like spine crescent.
Also, I'm not sure whether all medium + small socket combinations are possible on manus peak. I want to say the medium sockets with supply depots don't have non-depot counterparts, and there wont be a medium socket and small socket with supply depots. Or at least I haven't seen one between B and C on manus peak. |
