I know I'm a ghost, but don't let them back into me now. I lose all sense of my targets's whereabouts. |

So you're expecting the 2nd worse suit in the game to wait another 1 1/2 - 2 or more months before its fixed? What are you doing in that time other then completelly tossing the salad on aiming mechanics with 1.4 ? I dont understand why CCP has such a screwed up priority list and implimation process with it. I know you have a job loss in the area that figures this sorta thing out but really?
You keep making the scout worse, you're going to completely screw over a core mechanic in 1.4 (turn speed) and you hate gamepad users by implimenting a crazy bonus to those using keyboard and mouse and killing gamepads like the DS3 with this next update.
Im trying hard to like this game, give hope to my friends who iv dragged into my masocistic addiction but you're making it bloody impossible by catering to the loudest IIRC and bland shooter forumite whiners. |

Thanks for the feedback, IWS. Wolfman's bad news isn't new news; we've known since his Armor thread that Scout Love wasn't on the table 'til 1.5 or 1.6.
That said, we've been super hopeful for the TacNet overhaul. It'd bring us back into the game in more ways than one. You reference "Stealth" above, but you also say "soon" ... how deeply I have learned to hate this innocuous word.
I'm sure by now you know exactly what's coming. Might I ask if we Scouts should abandon all hope for 1.4? |

Please please please have part of the scout's buff be a universal increase of all dropsuits scan radius. if you increase everyone's scan radius, say from 10m to 30m, people will actually be able to passively scan others except scouts since they have lower profile signatures which would be an advantage to them. If you are concerned increasing this passive scanning range will make active scanners useless, it won't but you could always give active scanners more range or other perks (like say temporarily see enemy outlines though walls. |

Now I'm perplexed. I assume you refer to the Commando. I'll bet you $10 ISK the Commando Community's average KDR is better than 2.0. There may be fewer of them than us, but I suspect we Scouts are unrivaled in the "worst suit in game" running.

Yes, I am refering to the commando, with its lack of modual slots it is in my opinion the worst suit in the game. Sure the Swarm / Sniper / Nanohive combo on a tower is useful but thats about all they are good for. |

Did I understand the changes to that and active scanners right though?
Specifically AScan results would be shared with your squad instead of the whole team? It's just occurred to me - the Ascanner currently gives your entire team intel at the cost of lighting yourself up to the entire enemy team. Wouldn't the suggested change mean you reveal yourself to the entire enemy team to provide intel to just one squad now?
Maybe I understood the idea wrong.
Anyway - yay to some kind of indication that scouts are going to get looked at sooner rather than later! |

Like I said, they need better scanners, another equipment slot, and another equipment slot, and boosted CPU/PG for that said slot. |

Oh be quiet. Pilots have more problems; at least with the Light frames and Scout suits it's possible to lose a suit a game and still make money. |

Agreed. Right there is a good way to balance scouts. I would love to be able to have my scanner AND a drop uplink. With some added fitting requirements, that would work well I think. |
