5 high 5 low with a 50% PG buff, 2% damage resistance/level for armor or shields depending on the type. That's what it would take to combat proto av the same way standard tanks do, right now.

Radius was fine. Direct damage was fine. Reduce splash to 60 on proto and rounds in clip to 2 in proto and we have a decent sidearm that requires skill to use BC that little splash won't mean jack to even an adv armor tank. Now it is useless and...

Balancing on player performace (WP, KDR, etc) will put logis, dedicated av, and dropship pilots all in the same games while ar's, snipers, and tankers will end up in the same games. doesnt work bc gear and role affects a player's performance. alos...
