Probably because Amarr gear requires the most skill to use and it's dual tanking. And right now they literally have to give laser rifles away because they're so nurfed.

There's little point snipping it. They might as well just fix it ASAP. I would like to know how many people are using this before it gets fixed. I don't see it as a lot different to AFKing at the moment, except it impacts the opposing side instead.

Standing on the edge of the map and using AV/Snipers to make someone waste an orbital on you alone is nearly as good as a rage mail. All those points just to put you down. (For the 30 seconds it'll take to get back for round 2)
